Another job scam victim returns home

The Security Bureau said that one more Hong Kong resident who had sought help from the Immigration Department has safely returned to Hong Kong from Cambodia.

A spokesperson said the man returned on Sunday with the assistance of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the HKSAR, the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia and the Security Bureau's dedicated task force.

The authorities have not released the person's identity or other information related to the job scam.

Since the establishment of the Security Bureau's dedicated task force, 19 trafficked people who sought help have returned to Hong Kong safely.
