RTHK suspended the Hong Kong Connection new episode on the press’s living space which was supposed to broadcast at 8 pm tonight.
The new episode interviewed Hong Kong Citizen’s News Chinese news group. Sources said that the RTHK management team asked the production team to interview the pro-Beijing press after reading the story outline.
But the production team did not follow the instructions. They had to get approval from the management team before releasing it.
Yesterday, the episode review on the RTHK website changed to another programme that talked about the difficulties faced by three visually impaired people in pursuing music.
Starting from March, few episodes on RTHK TV programs have been pulled down, including Hong Kong Connection, Hong Kong Stories and Lego review.
