Alice Lau Yim will take up the post of Permanent Secretary for Labour and Welfare on July 26.
Lau has been serving as the Permanent Secretary for Financial Services and the Tresury (Treasury) since July 2017. Her original post will be succeeded by Cathy Chu Man-ling.
Chu, who has been serving as the Postmaster General since September 2019, will take up her new post on July 29.
Patrick Nip Tak-kuen, Secretary for the Civil Service, said the two are seasoned Administrative Officers with proven leadership and management skills.
