American Airlines Conducts Test Flight to British Virgin Islands Ahead of Miami-BVI Direct Service

An American Airlines aircraft, under the American Eagle brand, landed at Terrance B.

Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island as part of a test flight ahead of officially commencing direct flights from Miami to the British Virgin Islands on June 1, 2023.

The aircraft, an Embraer E175LR, departed Miami at 8:57 AM on May 25, 2023, as announced by Minister for Communications and Works Hon Kye M.

American Airlines has reportedly stated that the demand for flights on the Miami to British Virgin Islands route has been so high in June that additional flights have been scheduled by the airline.
