Rare Stabbing and Shooting in Japan Leaves Three Dead, Suspect Still at Large

On Thursday, three people were killed in a rare stabbing and shooting incident in Japan.

A woman and two police officers were stabbed, while one person was injured.

The suspect, a farmer in his 30s, was holed up inside a building after the attack.

The suspect's mother escaped from the building, and authorities urged people to stay indoors in the area where the attack took place.

Two women had escaped the house where the suspect was holed up, one at around 8:35 pm and the other soon after midnight.
