Three international schools in Hong Kong - Harrow, Hong Kong International School and Kellett - have been named among the world's 100 best private schools, according to the Spear's Schools Index.
Expert education consultant Carfax Education and London-based Spear's Magazine assessed and selected 100 best private schools worldwide for the index, which is the only global ranking of top private schools.
Other Chinese schools on the list include International School of Beijing, Shenzhen College of International Education and Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou.
Private schools around the world were assessed across a wide range of criteria, from academic results and preparation for university entry, local and international reputation, and how adequately they prepare students for life beyond academia.
Honors went to two British schools, Harrow International School, and Kellett International School, and Hong Kong International School as among the top 15 schools in China and southeast Asia.
Both Harrow and Kellett boast of over 73 percent of their students having achieved grade A or above in the GCE A-Level this year.

Awarded institutions are divided geographically into eight categorizations - UK Prep, UK Senior, Switzerland, Middle East, Rest of Europe, USA, China and Southeast Asia and Rest of the World.
